Opportunities

We aim to create circular economies for single-use glass waste from hotels in Indonesia.  The average 5-star hotel in Bali throws away around 150kg of glass daily.  For example, from wine, spirits, and mineral water sales.  There's no infrastructure for processing glass bottles and an opportunity to license our solution to scale across Indonesia.

Return on Investment

Our model is profitable because of the collection revenues from on-trade establishments.  We will divide provinces into territories.  Each territory will have one Glass Guardians facility that generates ROI for the owner.

Closing the Loop

Our machines automate processing, pulverizing the glass bottles into sand or cullet.  These materials can then be used directly by other industries; for example, construction, water filtration, hydroponics, and sandblasting.  There are many applications.

We can easily sell the output materials because there are so many applications.  But if we gave it away to the BUMDES, it can impact local economies.  Just imagine the possibilities for local entrepreneurs.  This might be the real value of our model.

Something that happens a lot in Bali is interesting.  Someone will buy a hillside.  Harvest and sell the earth for construction.  Then when there's nothing left to take, either sell the land or develop the empty quarry.  The bigger trend however, is that Indonesia imports more than 200 million USD of glass materials annually.  At the same time, glass bottles are being dumped.
